Across The Floors of Silent Seas by C S Jonson is another story I read while traveling. It looks like I was on a water reading binge. LOL How could I resist the cover and I have read some of her other work and loved it, so I felt this would be a good one too….and it was.

It’s hard to give a short story prequel four thumbs up, but C S Johnson has hooked me with this wonderful look into Paga, Jay’s world, and I want to see where they go next…and the crew?, oh yeah, I wantta know more.

  1. I’ve got a lot of short stories and novellas to get through…I might make a start on some of them tonight! I like when a short story can earn a four star…it says a lot about the author!

    • i read them a lot when i travel. i agree, it says a lot when an author can pack so much goodness into a small package

  2. LOL So I had to click over to Amazon and read the first page or two and I was hooked so thanks for bringing this one to my attention. The cover is really gorgeous and it sounds like a neat different kind of read. What a switch of instead of whether humans believe in mermaids it’s quite the opposite now and the humans are the science experiments!

    • i loved everything about it and i’m glad i got you clicking. I’m always on the lookout for something a bit different and C did the job well 🙂
