Both Biden and his VP are not regarded as warm towards the UK so lets see how relations go between our countries! Lovely photo though isn’t it!

The inauguration was an impressive show! The fireworks, Katy Perry and Tom Hanks were my favorite parts. Very inspirational. 🙂
The idealist in me hopes that now with someone with decency and class in the White House we can return to a semblance of civility, but there are still so many Trump supporters who are so angry and agitated.
My partner and I watched the whole thing. It was a lovely thing.
Such a wonderful day. I cried a lot for various reasons – especially when Officer Goodman escorted Kamala out. His courage and bravery during the insurrection on Jan 6 can not be overstated. He is a hero, and I love that he was given a prominent role for the inauguration. Seeing a woman sworn in, and especially for that woman to be Kamala Harris, also made me cry. I honestly did not know if it would happen in my lifetime – especially after all of the bs of the last four years.
