  1. I do not believe I have ever head this Mariah song, which surprises me, because she was popular even back then. And, wow! I cannot believe she’ 50!

  3. I have had Kenny Chesney’s old Get Along on my mind for several days now. It’s upbeat and laid back.

    Oh, this one by Mariah Carey just lowers the blood pressure doesn’t it? 🙂

  5. ‘When I Saw You’ is my fave Mariah Carey song, and I actually had the words framed along with two pictures of Eleanor from the day she was born. I think of it as a different kind of love song than it was originally intended, because the chorus especially:

    When I saw you
    When I saw you
    I could not breathe
    I fell so deep, oh oh
    When I saw you
    When I saw you
    I’d never be
    I’d never be a same

    I thought I had been “in love” before, but nothing even comes close to the love of a parent for a child. It’s on a whole different level!

  12. As you know, I love Mariah Carey’s music. As such, I have to agree that Don’t Forget About Us is a great selection. Thanks for sharing.
