  1. My favourite sports are cricket, darts and football. If I get time I try to watch some American Football and I support the New Orleans Saints. In baseball I support the Texas Rangers but I don’t see much US sport here due to the time difference. For fun this weekend? The Sharknado films and a few apocalypse books!

    • Love those Sharknado films. All right, a Saints Fan. I root for them too and I used to play a lot of darts.

  2. We don’t have what you guys call football here… we have REAL football :p It’s not only a fall or winter sport, though, and I don’t really love it.
I do love icehockey, though, and the season is starting soon. All my guys have started their hockey practice now.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

    • Real football. LOL My mother used to be a huge icehockey fan and I do enjoy the game too.

    • Yeah, I know you aren’t a big football fan. For me, it’s hard to get me out of the house during football season. I missed a lot of the games on Sunday, but I sure did enjoy the college games. Lots of excitement.

    • Yeah, that would add a little more excitement to the game. Friendly rivalry add that little extra something. 🙂

  3. Yea for football. We like pro and follow the Steelers and the Bengals (makes for an interesting marriage twice a year) but college is our fave. We like Ohio State, Florida State, Penn State, Pitt and many others. I graduated from Marshall and like them to do good. Anyone who has watched “We Are Marshall” knows how much football means to the college. We won yesterday but the game wasn’t telecast so I couldn’t watch it. I love to read while watching (unless it’s one of my faves and then I have to pay close attention). Hope you have a wonderful week.

    • Noooo….not a Buckeye. LOL I am BLUE all the way. Mr Wonderful loves his Tide and they did a little rolling over Florida State. I have seen the show and can’t help but love them. I usually have to sneak a little reading in too.

  4. My favorite sport is reading…what that isn’t a sport…lol. Actually I am just not a sports fan so I don’t have one. 🙂

    • I live in Florida, but GO BLUE. Sounds like you had some fun and that is the main thing.

  5. Football is definitely here although I don’t watch it as much as I used to (pre- blogging days lol, when I had LOTS more time). As for the weekend, I’m doing a lot of relaxing and watching shows on Netflix. Hope you’re having a good Labor Day weekend.

  6. I thoroughly enjoy watching tennis, particularly Wimbledon and Himself loves following cricket and formula one racing:). I hope you have thoroughly enjoyed the start of the football season.

    • My sister loved tennis, but I don’t follow it much. Some car racing…for sure. Loved the start, both me (MIchigan Wolverine) and Mr Wonderful (Alabama Roll Tide) had teams that won and that’s always a good thing.

  7. I never liked football, but my son has gotten me into fantasy football so I guess I might watch a game or two.
I’ve read all the Alexandra Sokoloff books. I’m going to be reading the new one soon.
    Have a great week!

    • Yay for your son. When you play like that, the real games become a more interesting. This is my first book by Alexandra, but she is on my read more of list. 🙂
