Last year I didn’t come across this until August, but I aim to get a jump on it this year. I don’t really feel shame for being so behind, but it does annoy me that those overdue reviews keep popping up in my head. I aim to get rid of them once and for all, so, hopefully, this will be my last year with this challenge.

I will be going through my notes and R2R file, pulling books for review.

I feel pretty good about where I ended up, 16 late reviews. I didn’t get to all of them, but there is always 2019!

(P.S. This post started out looking so good, but I am tired of trying to figure out the new WordPress for it, so…it is what it is)

  1. Me too. I love doing the challenges. They really motivate me. I was able to keep up with last years and left none on the table. I am current for this year and it takes off the pressure I put on myself.

  2. I want to do this but I have so many books waiting for reviews that I know I won’t be able to get to all of them. I’m still working on them from last year! Good luck with your goal.

  3. I did great last year. All review books have been read and posted. I had to back off taking some I would have liked, but it drives me crazy having them hanging around undone. I do this for myself, as well as the authors, because authors are great and know we bite off more than we can chew. lol

  4. I’m with you. I’m really hoping this will be my last year needing to participate in the challenge. I have 7 left. Good luck with your remaining ones!

  5. You’re doing better than I am. When I first began blogging I took on way too many and still find it hard to limit myself. 🙂

    • I have been pretty good at keeping up with current reviews, have a few from the holidays I need to do so I’m not reading any new review books until I have done them. I still have some OLD ones that I really hope to finish up with this year and be done with it. 🙂

    • Thanks Nicole. I do it because my notebooks keep looking at me from the pile beside my reading chair. lol They won’t leave me alone!

    • Fabulous Carole. I left a few 2018 books on the table too. The holidays are way too busy and this year I won’t read so many review books after mid December. Just too hard to keep up, so I’ll have to be creative with my blog posts.

    • Yeah, it’s always something. But that’s a good thing. Gives us something to strive for.
