Monday Mini – Taking The Fall by Margaret Chatwin

Okay, I admit it. I sell myself out when it comes to covers. I saw this cover in a giveaway and knew I had to enter. YAY! I won this signed, first edition paperback of Taking The Fall by Margaret Chatwin on the tiffanylovesbooks blog quite a while ago, actually September 24, 2012. I would like to again send my thanks to Margaret and Tiffany. It may take me a while, but I WILL read and review every book I have won.

I love it. An employee that does their job too well. So well, in fact, that it places her life in danger. Enter a man who will betray her. A cabin in the woods. I knew what would happen, but this is a great story about life and the ability to pick yourself up after you have been knocked down. The tension Margaret Chatwin created by very successfully twisting and drawing out the conclusion made me read this cover to cover, unable to stop.

“Your first name should be Independent. Independent Hill.”

Fear is only an emotion. What you do with it will define you.

  1. It’s one of those books that will piss you off. The ending was awesome. I would think it was over and then Margaret would make something else happen. The suspense she created at the end made me unable to put it down. Her writing flows smoothly and make it an easy read.
