I hope everyone is enjoying the dog days of summer. I know I am. It has been very hot (high 90’s, but I swear it feels like the 100s to me) and sunny here. ‘They’ have issued heat index warnings, recommending limiting outdoor exposure.
I am loving every minute of it, but am careful about how long I am in direct sunlight. My pool is very inviting, but floating is not an option at this time. Doesn’t really matter to me, because I spend a lot of my time underwater.
You see, I was a mermaid in another life, so water is second nature to me..

It’s been crazy hot here as well though we had a nice break from humidity until a few weeks ago. I didn’t realize how much I was enjoying not having to deal with it until it showed back up with a vengeance! Great books this week! Have a great week!
