Sherry’s Shelves #173 – Autumn has reached the Gulf Coast

.

Sherry’s Shelves #173 is my weekly update from October 21 – October 27, 2018.

Happy Sunday everyone. Well, another week has flown by. Mr Wonderful and I were working on the shed before he headed out of town…Boston bound for the World Series. I had messed up my back working on the shed, so I stayed behind. Airplane travel is difficult for me on a good day. He will be arriving this afternoon and it will be good to have him home. I worked in the yard a little bit and did a ton of blogging. I will never allow myself to get so far behind on reviews again. As long as I take good notes, the review is half written. I think I may find that there are some that I haven’t read yet, so that presents a different problem, but I will get there. We had rain for several days, so that made being housebound okay for blogging. Today, the sun is shining and the air is crisp and clear. Makes for great photo taking, but the pool is getting a bit chilly. 😆

Well, I messed around and ran out of time. I’ll share my book haul next week. Gotta run.

  1. I know how easy it is to injure your back doing work around the house and garden so you have my sympathy. I hope you can get a bit of rest and feel better.

  2. I’d like to see pics of the shed. Where did you put it? The pool here is getting chilly too. I may cover it soon to keep out leaves until they finish falling from the popcorn trees. The water is only going to get colder and it’s shocking to get in then to get the leaves out. LOL Take care of your back and tell Mr. Wonderful I said hi!

  3. Backs are the worst. I hope you can get some comfort and relief. I wrote 2 reviews today, but still have 2 to go. It’s too easy to fall behind.

  4. I’m sorry to hear about your back – it’s always so flipping painful and there’s never a comfortable position for more than 10 minutes… I hope it’s well on its way to making a full recovery. I hope the coming week is a better one, Sherry:)

  5. Yes I have to keep up on my reviews or I can’t remember what I want to say. I almost never take notes. I need to work on that skill. Have a great week! Anne – Books of My Heart
