Sunday Post #431 August

Hello Everybody. Hope you had a good week and all is well in your world. It has been cloudy, a bit rainy with periods of sunshine, and….what the hell. I don’t remember it being almost a hundred degrees for weeks and so many clouds and days of rain. Sure we would have the afternoon thunderstorm because of the heat and humidity here in Florida, but day after day of gloom. Where did the sun go???????????? I need it.

Anyway…everything is going, the normal. I have not left the house in several weeks now and I feel the need to get out and do something, even if it is just a car ride out to the beach. How about you? Are you getting cabin fever?

I hope you all have a good week and please stay safe, wear a mask.

  1. I feel like I am one of the few who is ok with staying in. I do go for a walk every morning, but rarely anywhere else. I hope you get some sunshine soon. It definitely makes a difference in my day.

  2. It’s been hot here, but it never climbs up past 99. We walk earlier and earlier. Now we are walking before the sun comes up. We actually had a cooler week last week.

Walking every day does keep me sane. At least we get out of the house and see what else is going on in the world. And I do spend a lot of time on my front porch. That is also nice.

    Have a good week!

  3. It’s finally upper 80s rather than 90s but I would love more cloudy days to do yard work. Only a few more weeks and I think the weather will be perfect.

I’m pretty comfortable staying home. But I do enjoy when I must go out and drive around to look at things.

  4. I do get cabin fever sometimes, and a nice drive somewhere helps a lot. We’re lucky enough to be by Lake Michigan so even if it’s not the ocean, at least I get to see some water. 🙂

    Take care this week!

  5. I can understand getting cabin fever. I work at a hospital so I’ve never been at home, but my husband has been. I go hiking and get out to nature when I can. Not so much with these fires, smoke and over 100 degree weather, though. I was getting cabin fever this weekend because of it. Hope you had a nice trip out at the beach! 🙂
