I got the idea and the motivation to start doing Tackling The TBR from All The Book Blog Names Are Taken. It has helped me to keep track of my reading shelf as far as current events and I also started doing a post for Books From The Backlog, from Carole’s Random Life in Books, to tidy up my shelves. I feel better about my out of control TBR and have even knocked off a couple of those old ones that had been hanging around for years.
Because I am behind on review books and most of those in my currently reading are review or want to review books, I haven’t picked up any of them since week before last, so these all probably look familiar to you. I’ll be working on them this week. I did read some off my TBR backlog for fun, but won’t be reviewing them. I don’t review all the books I read. Do you?

My story in SBD: Jilted by Azaaa DavisCover image attached. Page count: 60Blurb:
Administrative
assistant by day and boss lady on social media by night, Theresa enjoys
sharing her charmed life with half-million followers. The only thing
she loves more is being engaged to the hottest doctor at the clinic
where they both work. Cementing her fame by reaching one million
followers would be the icing on her wedding cake.
Life
stops running smoothly when her husband vanishes on their wedding night
and a leaked photo of a barely-dressed Theresa yelling at the police
sparks a viral sensation. With everything at stake—love, reputation,
followers, and job—she embarks on a reluctant voyage of discovery.
Follow Theresa as she stumbles over her new husband’s secrets and
develops her inner strength.

Haven’t even taken care of the issues from Sally and here we go again. Have everything crossed and hoping it stays west. Sorry everyone, but I have had enough.

I have missed sharing my TBR post, so this is three weeks worth.
This is just a quick update to let you know, we made it through the hurricane in one piece. It was frightening and power had been lost from the 16th to the 20th. I will be sharing pics and videos later, but right now we are still doing cleanup and I will be catching up on missed blogging events as soon as I can.
