Mullet Toss celebrates a landscape and culture in flux (WUWF by T S Strickland).

Hi Everyone. This is Mullet Toss weekend, but I will not be attending. What used to be a party of twenty or more of our family, friends and friends of our friends, The Florabama Open (our personal golfing event) has petered out. It lasted for more than twenty years, so I think it had a good run. My hubby, Eric, and I still celebrate it and are thinking of getting a room next year, even if no one else wants to come. Rooms are super expensive, but, even though we live close, the traffic and parking are outrageous, so the only way we do it is to get a room at the Phoenix Ten, a condo complex right beside the Florabama, home of the Mullet Toss.
I know I said I was going to be blogging more, but the best laid plans….This week I am holding myself to it. I have numerous reviews waiting to be written, so keep your eyes open. I hope you have a great week and I’ll be talking at ya.

I don’t have a lot listed, but I will be writing some reviews and may have some giveaways, also, so be sure and check in during the week for new posts.
I was watching TV the other day and saw a promotion for Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us movie. I first read a book of hers back in 2012. I had won a copy of Hopeless and she sent me signed copies of HOPELESS and SLAMMED. I have never been a huge romance fan, unless there is some blood and guts involved, but the quality of her writing made me open myself up to more romance novels. Good writing can make a good book no matter what the genre…for me…and blogging has opened my mind in ways I never anticipated.

As I created this post, I found a nice surprise on Goodreads. Colleen Hoover is having a Giveaway for a copy of It Ends With Us, so hop on over and sign up HERE.
Colleen has a lot of books, so I’ll just pass you the Amazon link and you can browse for yourself HERE.

International and #1 New York Times bestselling author of romance, YA, thriller, women’s fiction and paranormal romance.
I don’t like to be confined to one genre. If you put me in a box, I’ll claw my way out.
My social media username is @colleenhoover pretty much everywhere except my email, which is colleenhooverbooks@gmail.com

Are you familiar with Colleen Hoover? Have you read any of her books?

MY MICHAEL B CHIKONDI REVIEWS

Hi Everyone. Hope you all had a good week and are looking forward to next week. I am feeling pretty good. Rehab is going so well, I have been discharged from both Occupational and Physical Therapy. It’s great that they came to the house, instead of me having to go to them. That would have been a super hassle. I will continue to do all the exercises and walking that I was doing when they came, but this time it will be up to me…and Eric. I am still having the nurse come once a week. Have you ever tried to gain weight? I have put on four pounds in the last month, but that is not enough. I had lost over twenty pounds and was on a liquid diet for so long, my tummy doesn’t have enough room for a normal amount of food. I eat six small meals and snacks a day, and drink two to three protein drinks. Dehydration is always an issue because I get so caught up in a book or blogging, I forget to get my sixty four ounces of liquid each day. If I drink at the the wrong time, then I’m not hungry.
Well, enough about me. What have you been up to? Any plans for something special this coming week? Read any good books? Thanks for dropping in. It is always nice to hear from you. 🙂

AMAZON SYNOPSIS
450. Southwest Ireland. Daniel Milligan is born. And dies the same day. But his Life is not over. It’s just beginning. And he’s not a Vampire. Daniel Milligan has become an Angel. And a Warrior. The 13th in an elite legion of Angels. With a life and death mission: The preservation of Good and the death of Evil.
Their foe is the essence of evil incarnate. Satan. The Devil himself. Now allied with Dracula. Not Bram Stoker’s monster of Legend, Folklore and Myth, but the real flesh and blood creature. Will the Supernatural powers of their massed army of Demons, Werewolves and Vampires enable them to rule the World?
Earth’s landscape is soon to be reshaped. But for good? – Or evil? Magic and Wizards are powerless. Evil lingers in the abyss of night. And only the Epic Quest of Daniel and his Angel Warriors can challenge it.
But Daniel is torn between the family he never knew – and his duty to all mankind. Thrust into an unknown Paranormal World and time where the line between Fantasy and reality is vague – Daniel must choose between his Human family and his duty to all Humanity.
In the darkest tower of Draculas castle – an apocalyptic battle will decide the fate of all mankind. There can be only one victor. One who will write the final chapter in the Chronicles of Good and Evil.

I added Dracula’s Lair by David C Murphy to my reading link on 3.8.13. I’m glad I came across this one, because I am in the mood for a good and evil battle between gods. How about you? Does this sound like one that would be a good fit for you.

I added all three books on March 7, 2013. I have read some of his work and enjoyed. Not only good for a light mystery, but plenty of laughs come along the way. Look below for a review link of other Robert Thornhill books and you’ll see why I enjoyed it.

There is never enough time to read all the books I want to read. I would need to be immortal and I still don’t think I could read them all. I am determined to spread out my reading this year, between my TBR, review books and library books…and other books that happen to be laying around, either on a shelf, table, hearth, or the ones that haven’t made it to my TBR yet. My goal is, at least, twelve. That will average one a month.
To see all my library books, enter Library in the search bar or in the categories drop down menu. Happy reading.
