Hummingbirds – Sherry’s Shelves 9.15 – 9.21.24

Hi Everyone. We have been having the battle of the juice. Our hummingbirds don’t like to share. Hummingbirds are quiet vocal and for such a small bird, they have a loud voice.We had some Mississippi Kites hanging around, but they may have moved on. They also are very vocal and have a sharp voice.

Hi Everyone. It’s still pool weather, though it has become very refreshing since the storm passed through. For the most part, it missed us. A little bit of wind and a little bit of rain. Hurricane season is winding down and we have our fingers crossed it will be a quiet fall. Michigan and Alabama both won their football games today. YAY!

Yes, we have met Beetlejuice.

Baseball season is almost over. Looks like we won’t make the playoffs this year.

Book To Movie Adaptation – It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover @colleenhoover

I was watching TV the other day and saw a promotion for Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us movie. I first read a book of hers back in 2012. I had won a copy of Hopeless and she sent me signed copies of HOPELESS and SLAMMED. I have never been a huge romance fan, unless there is some blood and guts involved, but the quality of her writing made me open myself up to more romance novels. Good writing can make a good book no matter what the genre…for me…and blogging has opened my mind in ways I never anticipated.

Hi Everyone. It was a quiet week, because Mr Wonderful went out of town. I binge watched Twilight again. I just can’t help myself. I love those sparkly vampires. I also did some reading and blogging and rehab exercises. I am now walking a half a mile (50 rotations around the kitchen/living room wall) in 15 minutes. My oxygen level did go down to 87 and my heart rate went up to 120. I do have a stress test and a lung test coming up this week and we will see where I stand. Got in the pool today and it was beautiful! Have a super day.

Hi Everyone. Mr Wonderful has done such a fabulous job on keeping the pool sparkly clean. Last Sunday was my first time in the pool this year. I hesitated because of my surgery. I had a perforated colon and have an ostomy bag. I plan on having it reversed once I regain my strength and make sure I am in good health…probably October or thereabouts.
