I am so happy to be back with another action packed Jane Blythe novel. She loves to share alpha heroes, feisty women, danger and happy ever afters. In Ruthless Scars, we get right to the good stuff. Sebastian “Rock” Rockman has lived his life trying to make himself worthy of Ariel Emerson. Just when he thinks he’ll have his second chance, she is kidnapped right under his nose and sold to a monster.

After she had been placed in a suitcase with a ball gag fitted and a chastity belt, all she could think was:

She was nothing. She was just a toy. No worth.

OMG! It amazes me that Jane can come up with so many ways to torture those that find themselves in the hands of monsters. The women that survive come out stronger, able to appreciate those who put their lives on the line to save them and help them find themselves again. They find that those around them are so much more than friends, they are family.

I do crave a happy ever after, seeing Jane puts her characters through all kinds of hell. I’m eager to see what she comes up with in the next book of the series, Brutal Scars.
