OMG. What a wonderful surprise I found in All In by Simona Ahrnstedt. She is a Swedish author and Tara Chance is the translator. She did an amazing job. The words flowed smoothly across the pages and once I started reading, I couldn’t stop.

I am not big into the financial world, but Simona Ahmstedt made it easy to follow along with the financial elite of Sweden. The characters came alive on the pages. Of course, I loved the main characters, David Hammar and Natalia De la Grip. I love how Simona handled the man’s world of corporate takeovers and those in power with their prejudices and nepotism. One of my favorite characters was Asa. She has a BIG personality.
I went into All In by Simona Ahrnstedt with low expectations, and Simona far surpassed them. I thought, being it’s translated, that it would be stilted, that the flow would be halting, interrupting the pacing and tempo of the story. I was very pleasantly surprised. If I hadn’t known before hand that it was a translation, I never would have guessed. My biggest complaint is that All In was published in 2014 and it is part of the Only One Night series. Where s my Book II, because I really want it. I think I know who will be in the spotlight in Book II and I think he is as intriguing a character as David Hammar.
I can’t remember how I got the paperback copy, but I think it was at RomCon in Las Vegas. My thanks go out to Kensington and Simona Ahrnstedt for the opportunity to read and review All In.
