Hi Everyone. The weather has been typical for Florida, sun and rain. The yard is sure lovin’ it, especially those dog gone weeds. Gonna have to get out there soon or the yard will become a jungle. LOL It seems to have cooled off a little, so maybe I can handle being out. The sun sure is intense, so I welcome cloud cover and any kind of breeze. This week has been pretty much like last week. Some reading, some blogging, some piddling around the house, spending time with Mr Wonderful and even managed to binge watch Twlight…AGAIN. I just can’t help myself. Mr Wonderful laughs at me because I can almost quote the movies word for word.

Do you have a favorite movie that you can watch over and over and over again?

Hi Everyone. I love the heat and the sun, but this year seems to be the most intense year I have ever seen. Heat advisories and temperatures over 90 degrees every day, with a heat index of over 100. I don’t care where you live, 100 degrees is hot! Then we have the humidity, making it feel like a sauna and hard to breathe. Thank goodness for the pool. I wouldn’t even stop outside if I didn’t have one. Can’t say I am getting much yardwork done and with all the rain we have had those darn weeds are having a party. LOL

Sherry’s Shelves – 7.4 – 7.10.21 #thesundaypost #thesundaysalon

Hi Everyone. Well, I actually did something this week. I had Breakfast with the Blues on Pensacola Beach. I love the Blue Angels, the sound thumping through my body gives me a sense of excitement, putting a smile on my face, along with everyone else that showed up. the water was rough and the yellow flags were flying. Of course, noone can be in the water when the Blues fly. The bridge now has four lanes open, so it wasn’t bad getting to the beach. We are having the normal summer weather….hot and muggy with afternoon showers…sometimes.

I had added a bunch of photos by copying and pasting. Apparently WordPress hates that and funked it up, so if you would like to see them, hop on over to Mr Wonderful’s Facebook page HERE.

Hi All. Tropical Storm Claudette has been blowing through for a couple of days now. It’s good for all the greenery. It makes me wonder what the hurricane season will be like. Last year’s Sally was more than enough for me and I have my fingers crossed they will miss us…I think it’s too much to ask that we have no hurricanes at all. Gonna make this fast, just in case. I don’t think it will be bad enough to lose power, but ya never know.

Hi Everyone. Woo Hoo. Had a birthday and went to a restaurant for the first time in a year and a half. Of course, I had to head to the beach. So glad at least part of the bridge that was damaged during the hurricane is back up and running. Though the traffic was slow and bumper to bumper, it was well worth it. We also cruised through Fort Morgan, where there seems to be a drowning a day lately. The water is rough and if you are not familiar with water that has an undertow, it can be very dangerous. So, if you are vacationing, it behooves you to check out the latest news in the area.

Hi Everyone. The sun was shining, but now it looks like rain. We could use some. I have been messing with the pool. I am so glad we have a robot that cleans it. Was getting to be a bit much for me. Need to get out and do some yardwork, but…

Have done some reading and a lot of blogging, while Mr Wonderful is at his mother’s house. We need to get another laptop so we each have one. It will make blogging a lot easier for me. I let him use the computer whenever he wants, because I have my reading to entertain me. Unfortunately he is not a book reader. It’s a goo thing it never bothers him that I have my nose stuck in a book all the time. Definitely a good thing for my TBR. LOL

We are all doing good and I hope you are too.
