Hi Everyone. I am so happy to say that I have all my backlog reviews written. I am determined to keep current on them. You are right, it makes it so much easier. We had a couple of days of thunderstorms this week. The temperatures are hot and humid. Here’s a couple of photographs that Eric took around the yard.

Hi Everyone. I’ve been doing a lot of reading, but now I have about eight books waiting for the review to be written. I hate when I do that. It hurts my brain to think that hard, trying to remember what I read. LOL We are having friends over on Saturday, so I am creating this post on Friday. At least that way I won’t forget about it. 🙂 These sure are the lazy days of summer for me. I love my lounger, kindle, TV and Netflix. Have a great week.

    Sherry’s Shelves – 6.1 – 6.7.25

    Hi Everyone. It’s been a quiet week for me. Doing a lot of reading, now I’m concentrating on the reviews. Our weather has been mostly sunny with intermittent rain…a typical Florida summer. Eric’s been doing a lot of trimming. I hate that I am not able to help. I used to love spending most of the day outside, no matter what the temperature. It’s been 80 – 90 most every day. I used to thrive on the sun. but I now feel my age. Isn’t it funny (not funny ha ha, but funny odd) that when you look in the mirror you see your mother? 🙂 Have a super week!

    Hi Everyone. I don’t have much to talk about. The weather has been in the eighties with some rain now and then. The darnn moles love our yard and are killing our grass. Does anyone have any suggestions? Hope you are having a good week.

    Hi Everyone. Spring is in the air and so is the pollen. The ice over the winter took a toll on the plants, but sagos grow like weeds, so we can always count on them to come back. The pool is looking great and the weather has been in the eighties. This week Eric was out of town for a few days so I binge watched A Discovery Of Witches. It was pretty good.

    MY FIFTEEN MINUTES OF FAME and weekly update #mullettoss #florabama

    Mullet Toss celebrates a landscape and culture in flux (WUWF by T S Strickland).

    Hi Everyone. This is Mullet Toss weekend, but I will not be attending. What used to be a party of twenty or more of our family, friends and friends of our friends, The Florabama Open (our personal golfing event) has petered out. It lasted for more than twenty years, so I think it had a good run. My hubby, Eric, and I still celebrate it and are thinking of getting a room next year, even if no one else wants to come. Rooms are super expensive, but, even though we live close, the traffic and parking are outrageous, so the only way we do it is to get a room at the Phoenix Ten, a condo complex right beside the Florabama, home of the Mullet Toss.

    I know I said I was going to be blogging more, but the best laid plans….This week I am holding myself to it. I have numerous reviews waiting to be written, so keep your eyes open. I hope you have a great week and I’ll be talking at ya.
