MY REVIEW

WOW, what a start!

I do love a damsel in distress during a storm and Paisley has run into a human and a natural disaster that leaves her injured and at the mercy of Stephen. Is he a good guy or the bad guy?

Is there such a thing as love at first sight?

I can only imagine, through Jane Blythe’s well written story, the terror that Paisley must have felt by what she saw, the injury from the crash, the pitch blackness of the night, and a strange man with a gun.

Predictable, but terrifying.

Jane gets me involved even though I know what’s going to happen, I am apprehensive, uptight and eager to know.

OH NO! Didn’t see that coming until it was too late.

Well…Stranger in the Snow has a delightfully intense ending and I give Jane Blythe a high five on a job well done. It’s not the easiest thing to do…get someone totally engrossed in a novella.

GOODREADS BLURB

~ Part of the Whispers of Winter multi-author box set ~

Driving home through a blizzard, Paisley McCook sees someone standing in the middle of the road holding what looks like a human head. It causes her to crash her car, and when she regains consciousness, there’s a man there. Unsure if he’s the same person she saw in the road, Paisley will have to put her trust in him if she wants to survive the storm.

ABOUT JANE BLYTHE

Jane has loved reading and writing since she can remember. She writes dark and disturbing crime/mystery/suspense with some romance thrown in because, well, who doesn’t love romance? She has one completed series, Detective Parker Bell, and one new series, Count to Ten.

When she’s not writing Jane loves to read, bake, go to the beach, ski, horse ride, and watch Disney movies. She has a black belt in Taekwondo, and a 200+ collection of teddy bears. She has the world’s two most sweet and pretty Dalmatians, Ivory and Pearl. Oh, and she also enjoys spending time with family and friends!

  1. Nice review, now we’re all going to have to read Stranger in the Snow to see what this surprise ending is all about.

Over 200 teddy bears, impressive . . . I wonder if Ms. Blythe has written any stories about them.

  2. Sounds like another thrilling read from Jane. I need to get my reviews written so I’m caught up on her series! I used to have about that many teddy bears too. Moved so many times I finally donated them to a hospital.

    • I don’t know how she writes so fast, but I say, keep ’em coming. 🙂 I have some bears, but not near that amount.
