Sherry’s Shelves – 10.24 – 11.6.21 #thesundaysalon #thesundaypost

Sunday Post

Hi Everyone. I have been off my feed for a couple of weeks, so this is the last two weeks update. I wanted to be sure that you had the opportunity to check out all the posts if something appeals to you. This past month has not been my favorite of the year, but things are looking up. How about you? How was your week? Did you have a lot of treaters stopping by? Do you decorate for Halloween? Do you party or treat yourself? Do you dress up?

I shared this post from Ken La Salle and we would love to hear how you would share your books: How Do You Share Your Books? @KenLaSalle

Stay safe and wear a mask..

  1. We did not do anything for Halloween but we usually do. The reports in the neighborhood were the treaters were down in numbers. For those who left out candy in bowls, the tricksters stole the bowls and all the candy early in the evening. Sad.

  2. I hope November is better! We had a ton of kids for Halloween, after several years of hardly having any! It was fun though to see people out and about, being as safe as you can be I guess on Halloween. We even had some older kids come by and young adults all dressed up.

  3. I had fun with decorating and stocking my Little Free Library for Halloween. That was very fun.

I hope things get back on track with you. I’ve been out of town more than I’ve been in town lately. Here’s to things calming down.

  4. Instead of Halloween (which we will revive next year), we gave out goodie bags to the kids in the neighborhood we’re close to. It was a fun alternative during the pandemic.

  5. I am glad that things are looking up for you, Sherry! We went to my daughter’s college to see her recital on Halloween so I didn’t decorate or even pass out candy this year. I hope that you are having a great week!
