Sunday Post #431 August

Hi Everyone. A quiet week is a good week. I have been piddling around the house, doing a little of this and a little of that, sorting and cleaning. I will have my second vaccination this month, so I am planning on having the yard sale I was going to have last year, this year. I am hoping Mr Wonderful is right behind me with the vaccination. He is on the list, but has no appointment set at this time. We are having a cold spell coming through here in the Panhandle, but the sun is shining, so that is good. I am using the time to try and catch up on some of my blogging. I hate not being ahead like I used to be, but Mr Wonderful has some freelance coming up, so I will TRY and devote that time to blogging ahead, doing reviews and…

Stay safe and wear a mask..

  1. I’m hoping that my age group might get the first dose of the vaccine by the end of March but it all depends on supply I guess. I hope my dad gets his second dose soon as that would be a weight off my mind!

  2. I hope your husband can get an appointment soon and that you get your second shot with no side effects. My dad gets shot two tomorrow, and I am very happy about it.

  3. So happy to hear you have had your first dose! Our governor pretty much hates public schools, so he pushed teachers way down on the list, even though we have been back teaching at 100% for a couple weeks. We finally received word last week that we will now be getting vaccinated after all, starting with the appropriate age bracket, thank goodness. So, hopefully I will have mine in a couple weeks, if not sooner.

I have been really behind lately as well, and have finally been able to catch up some this weekend. Whew!

  4. I hope you both get your vaccinations over and done. I’m not quite old enough so I’ll be in the last group, probably summer. At least you have the nice weather to work on things now. Happy reading!

  5. I want to get the vaccine soon but it’s only available to health care workers and those over 65 here right now. My doctor said she would let me know when she gets some.

  6. I’m still not eligible for my vaccine, but I’m hoping it will be soon. I agree – a quiet week is a good week. I had one of those too 🙂 Hope this is a good week too 🙂

  7. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that it won’t be long and you will be fully vaccinated. I hope it won’t be long before your husband is vaccinated, too. I’m very happy for you.

I agree: A quiet week is a good week.

Hope next week is quiet, too.

  8. Good to hear you’ll be getting your second vaccination. Hope your hubby gets an appointment soon! Have a great week, Sherry! 🙂

  9. I’m glad for you that you’ll finally be vaccinated next month. I still haven’t heard of anything here yet, so I’m waiting. My aunt will have her first injection next month. I hope your husband won’t have to wait too long ! Enjoy your week 🙂

  10. I hope everything goes well with the vaccines. A quiet week does sound nice. Sundays are our quiet days (usually) and I am looking forward to doing nothing tomorrow. Well, not nothing. I should do some housework. 🙂 I hope you have a great week!
