It’s Daylight Savings Time…Time to move ahead.

The rain held off for a while this week, so I did some trimming, preparing the yard for mowing.  I had sent the mowers off for summer servicing, thinking I would get them back in time to mow and put down some kind of fertilizer, weed and feed, or something, before the rain. The repair center had issues getting the parts in, so the raindrops are falling on my overgrown and weedy lawn. I think, here in the south, the grass goes dormant, but the weeds thrive, no matter what. 😆

A stand alone dragon novella.

NEW TO fundinmental

The Amber Isle is best described as being ‘Indiana Jones in an epic fantasy setting with more sarcasm.’ I love Indiana Jones, so there is no way I would miss this checking out this novella.

The Amber Isle (Book of Never, #1)

Season of the Devil: Love & Evil in Palm Beach

The Killing Game

Demon Hunter (The Collegium Book 1)

FOR REVIEW

I am super excited to have the next Leine Basso thriller, A Killing Truth by DV Berkom. I currently have my a fab giveaway going for The Body Market by DV and a guest post for Writing a Killer as Your Main Character, so drop by HERE to enter, if you want a chance for a suspense/thriller with a kickass heroine. A Killing Truth is a prequel to the stand alone Leine Basso series and I have itchy fingers wanting to get started and find out more about this ex assassin.

I have read and reviewed The Zombie Game by Glenn Shepard, so I was very happy to get the next book, The Ebola Game, to review in mid April. I have not read the first book in the series and that does not seem to have affected my reading enjoyment, though I will try to get to it…sometime.

The Ebola Game: A Dr. Scott James Thriller (The Dr. Scott James Thriller Series Book 3)

  1. I think the weeds thrive here in the north too. 🙂 Glad spring is here (or will be) although I’m not looking forward to cutting the lawn every two days lol. It grows so fast in the spring… but I’ll take it because I’m OVER the cold ha ha. It’s been raining all day here…

The amber Isle does look good, with a description like that I’m tempted to take a look at it too.

  2. Great showcase this week, Sherry. I can just see us. Lounging by the pool, ignoring each other with our noses buried in books. LOL I did some weed eating and spread some mulch today. Need to get more mulch and hope my lawn guy gets here this week. Otherwise, I’ll be calling on Scary Sherry when the weeds get too tall and the raptors come back. LOL

  3. It’s been raining here too. I love it but only if I’m indoors. Hehehe, I also started planting some seeds, took advantge of the wet weather, hopefully they start germinating faster.

Happy reading, Sherry, and stay dry!
