Tackling The TBR – 11.8 – 11.21.20 #tacklingthetbr

.

I got the idea and the motivation to start doing Tackling The TBR from All The Book Blog Names Are Taken. It has helped me to keep track of my reading shelf as far as current events and I also started doing a post for Books From The Backlog, from Carole’s Random Life in Books, to tidy up my shelves. I feel better about my out of control TBR and have even knocked off a couple of those old ones that had been hanging around for years.

COME ON….JOIN IN.

Previous Total: 2445

I read books from my TBR, and some that were in Documents on my KIndle, but not any of those under currently reading, which are mostly review books. My mood is BLAH, but I plan on knocking some review books out this coming week.

  1. I try to do the weekly Books from the backlog on Thursdays (you can see it on my Throwback Thursday posts) where I TRY VERY hard to sort my TBR. So far, it’s working. But gosh, we all just keep on adding new books.
But I say it’s a good thing! It says we believe in hope! Gosh, I can be so philosophical if I want to be…

I desperately want to add The Murder she Wrote series to my TBR!

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    • glad i have enticed you. i have seen your post and keep meaning to join in. i do books from the backlog but i feel i could easily add throwback thursday…if i remembered. lol

  2. I have taken part in similar things in the past and found it a great way of getting through the books on my TBR mountain. Only thing was, looking through the books on other people’s TBR mountains only had me adding more books to my own. Take for instance your post today, there are five books I’ve added to my Wish List.

    • yeah, i find new books too. i have a hard time resisting adding new ones, but if they are from someone i follow, i figure it’s probably a good fit. 🙂 glad to add to your list. LOL

    • a lot of the currently reading books are review books. it makes it easy for me to keep track of them, urging me to read them. most of the time, i have one physical book and one kindle book…sometimes an audio one too

    • priorities….i am behind on reviews too. hoping to do some catching up today. trying to back off review books because of it. reading is supposed to be fun, so just concentrate on enjoying your books. 🙂

    • it was actually two weeks. i missed last weeks tbr post. i love jon land. he sends me all his books and i love them. he is also writing for another series and i am really curious about that one. my favorite is still the caitlin strong series. we still have murder she wrote reruns on cable here in florida

    • slow but sure. i have been good about not one clicking like crazy. i keep telling myself i can’t read them all. lol glad some of the mysteries appeal to you.
