Sunday Post #431 August

Hi Everyone. What a gorgeous day we are having. Yesterday Mr Wonderful and I worked outside all day. It felt wonderful. Mowing, cleaning up and such. Grabbing some sun and getting my base tan working so I don’t fry every time I step outside and to get acclimated to the heat for when summer really hits. How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? Anything new happening? Any great books? Hope you have a good week.

Stay safe and wear a mask..

  1. It’s been raining here most of the week meaning the fence is still too wet to get out and paint it. It’ll be Tuesday to let it really dry out unless we get more rain today.

  2. Nice! Glad to hear you are back in the garden. It was warm here for a two or so days, but now it’s back to normal. Not bad though.

  3. We’ve had some lovely warm weather here, too, and we’ve started trying to repair the damage left by the freeze.

You’ve already made great progress on your Goodreads goal for the year. Fabulous.

  4. This week was nice and sunny but upcoming is back to rain. It’s great you were able to work outside. I hope we will get that done in the next couple weeks for spring planting. Of course, I have plenty of great books to read when it rains.

  5. That sounds wonderful. I love being outside in the spring before it gets really hot. something invigorating about it. I wouldn’t mind starting on a base tan myself… 🙂

  6. Here in France, we have a gorgeous sunshine many times a day, in between showers, wind, a typical “normal” month of March. The trees are beginning to bloom, the flowers too and it’s a joy to watch. Just as I was reading the beginning of your post, the sun broke through the clouds and made the rain on the trees and grass glitter like silver 🙂 Enjoy your week and working on your tan ^^
