Hi Everyone. I have been off my feed for a couple of weeks, so this is the last two weeks update. I wanted to be sure that you had the opportunity to check out all the posts if something appeals to you. This past month has not been my favorite of the year, but things are looking up. How about you? How was your week? Did you have a lot of treaters stopping by? Do you decorate for Halloween? Do you party or treat yourself? Do you dress up?

Hi Everyone. I don’t have much to say. Doing the normal. Binging on football for the weekend. Go Blue! And Roll Tide! Boston Red Sox? Jury is still out. For the upcoming week, I plan on writing some reviews, reading, binging on TV, working outside a bit…and piddling around the house. Does anyone else piddle? Piddle: to waste time doing something that is not important or useful. Well, if I am doing it, it is important. LOL

Hi Everyone. Hope you had a good week. The sun has been shining and the weather is fantastic, warm, in the 80s. The sun is still intense, though it has shifted in the sky. For the summer it hangs to the left of the pool and as the fall approaches, it comes back to the right of the pool. I feel a visit to the beach coming on. Need to make a pitstop at Hooters for some wings and a beer, then some cruising around and checking out what is going on. They had closed the road to the Gulf Island National Seashore. It’s funny that we have to deal with sand after a storm, instead of snow. They deal with it the same way, though. Plow and plow and plow. I’ve read some great review books the past week or two and you can check them out on my Tackling The TBR post (click the link below). Some of the freebies I picked up and read were good and there was even a surprise or two, like Princess. It may still be free (I just checked and it is now 99 cents) and if the cover appeals to you, I recommend grabbing it. It’s a quick and gruesome read. LOL

Hi Everyone. I have been a bit out of it the past week, some kind of stomach bug, but on the mend and feeling fine. Been raining quite a bit, so I have been hanging inside, missing the pool. I know the days are numbered before it gets cold enough that I don’t want to get in. It’s been very good, easy exercise as I try to get back into the swing of things. I want to be ready for when Covid does come under control and I feel good about traveling.

How about you? Read any good books? Been anywhere? Done any home projects? Or if you just want to share something, feel free. I’m listening.

Hi Everyone. The weather seems to be cooling down a bit, but when I worked in the yard I ended up getting over heated within an hour. This getting old shit sucks. I remember drinking, partying, and hanging on the beach all day long. Now…I don’t remember the sun being so intense and the temperatures so high. I will keep plugging away in the yard because I enjoy it and it gives me something to do and a reason to be outside, but I will consciously take more breaks… in the pool. Can’t live in the pool, but sure can visit it a lot. LOL I have been reading so much this past year and a half that I think it is affecting my enjoyment and ratings of books. Is that because I expect…want…more from the authors after reading so many books? Am I getting burnout? Who the hell knows.

Hi Everyone. Not much going on this week. Thank goodness Nicholas went by us and we only got a little wind and rain as it cruised past. It’s been a rough year for those to the west of us and I wish them the best. Nothing we can do when Mother Nature speaks but to button down the hatches and hang on for the ride. Any who…I have been doing so much reading I feel like my eyeballs are screaming for rest. I just can’t seem to help myself. I am hoping, after the rain has passed, to get my hiney outside and pretty up the yard. I know all this sitting is not good for me, for any of us. How about you? Have you set any new physical fitness goals since Covid? I wanted to do some traveling this year, but can’t bring myself to do it…yet. For me, it is time to reset and get ready for next year.

Hi Everyone. Can everyone say GO BLUE? Okay, I’ll let you slide. After all, not everyone routes for University of MIchigan college football. Do you like Wolverine? Lions? Panthers? Jaguars? Any dangerous critters or big cats? I am creating this post while watching Iowa and Iowa State. Iowa is a sneaky team and all too often underrated, but I think Iowa State is the underdog, so I’ll be routing for them. Seems like it will be the best game for this time slot. I already watched Ohio State go down, Oregon reveling in the win…and that was well worth the watch. LOL They are our biggest rival and we have yet to beat them under Coach Harbaugh’s reign. Two thumbs down for that. And…I was routing for Pitt in the Pitt vs Tennessee game. Got pretty ugly in that last quarter. A day of upsets…as long as it doesn’t happen for the Michigan vs Washington game. I think we have a good team and we can take them down. 🙂

It is sunshine and unicorns today. Not a cloud in the sky and the weather is in the 80s.

Hi Everyone. Another week and I did do a ton of reading. I got soooo wrapped up in Jack Killborn’s novels that I couldn’t stop. I read everything I had on my Kindle. WOW…some great stories! Have you read any of his work? I’ve also been reading some A M Hargrove. Have you ever read her work? She writes some steamy romances, but I first learned of her through her Guardians of Vesturon series. We have been having some pretty nice weather since Ida went through. Luckily, for us, it curved around us. We did have some squalls as the bands passed over us, but they were quick and like a normal afternoon summer thunderstorm here in the Florida Panhandle. We are having a bit of a cooling off spell. The pool is more refreshing, though I still prefer the high 80s. I have become a wuss. That means the clock is ticking and summer is going out with a bang. LOL
