Sherry’s Shelves 8.31.25 – 9.6.25

Hi Everyone. We had to do a little home repair this week. Our toilet kept running and we couldn’t get it to shut off, so we bought the innards at the hardware store and thought it would be an easy fix. Yeah. Right. Well, I have wanted a new toilet in our master bathroom for some times now…and I am finally getting it. Thank you Google, for clarifying the confusing. Three days later, we have a beautiful new toilet. Isn’t it funny that sometimes it’s the simplest things that makes us happy? LOL

Hi Everyone. Eric has been working all week with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos baseball team, so I have been binging on a lot of Netflix. The weather seems to be cooling down and we’ve had a bit of rain. We needed it, so that’s a good thing. Today was the first day of college football, and I can’t look away. Right now, Michigan is beating New Mexico. It’s a good warm up game for the season. Do you have a favorite sport? Do you root for a specific team? How about your kids, if you have any? Wishing you a super week.

Hi Everyone. Hope you had a great week. Mine was pretty quiet, binging on Netflix and doing a lot of reading. I don’t buy many books any more, but when I saw Kait Ballenger’s latest email had an opportunity to get an ARC for Wicked Believer, I had to check it out. Anything about Lucifer catches my attention. I had not read the first book in the series, Original Sinner, so I broke down and bought it. WOWZA!!!!!! It was worth every penny of the $4.99 Amazon price. I’ll be writing my review within the next couple of days so I can begin reading Wicked Believer. Happy reading.

Sherry’s Shelves 8.3 – 8.9.25

Hi Everyone. Eric went to his mom’s for a few days, so I binged on Netflix. Eric was coming home from his mom’s and saw this beauty down the street. We used to have two white squirrels visiting our yard, one with a long tail and one with a half tail. I haven’t seen any since those two disappeared years ago. We do have a family of Red Tailed Hawks hanging around, so I wish him well.

Also, I wanted to share V E Huntley’s cover for Redemption, The Bloodstone Legacy #3, which is available for preorder with a 1.6.26 publishing date.

Hi Everyone. I’ve been doing a lot of reading, but now I have about eight books waiting for the review to be written. I hate when I do that. It hurts my brain to think that hard, trying to remember what I read. LOL We are having friends over on Saturday, so I am creating this post on Friday. At least that way I won’t forget about it. 🙂 These sure are the lazy days of summer for me. I love my lounger, kindle, TV and Netflix. Have a great week.
