Books from the Backlog is a fun way to feature some of those neglected books sitting on your bookshelf unread.  If you are anything like me, you might be surprised by some of the unread books hiding in your stacks.

I have the first two giant books in The Century Trilogy and hope to binge read them some time. I have been reading Ken Follett for many years and always enjoy his work.

I want to read The Century Trilogy because I have been reading Ken Follett’s work for years and I won book II, so I bought book I with a Barnes and Noble Gift Card. Will I buy the third book? We’ll have to wait and see.

  1. I had picked up a few of his books to maybe read in the future though the size of them was pretty intimidating. That was years ago and I’m not sure I’ll ever get round to reading the things…

    • the two books i have in this series are HUGE. i will have to pick and choose the time i read them. i’ll probably read another book at the same time

  2. I saw the title and thought I had seen it somewhere before. I am usually quick to read books by authors I had previously enjoyed, because I can depend on them. I would bump this up the TBR

  4. I have always wanted to read the Pillars of the Earth books. I loved the HBO mini-series. I might be able to get to them next year. Thanks for reminding me about this author. 👍✨
