One Sentence Review – Silver Slay by Adelaide Smith

.

I love the cover for Silver Slay, a novella in the Queen of Steel series, by Adelaide Smith.

Silver Slay (QUEEN OF STEEL Book 1)

MY REVIEW

Silver Slay is an introduction to the series and Ingrid’s story of royal intrigue, a girl trying to do the right thing, struggling to survive and help those around her, a little magic, a little betrayal, danger all around, meeting lots of characters with their own agendas and I do wonder what will become of her.

I volutnarily reviewed a free copy of Silver Slay by Adelaide Smith.

GOODREADS BLURB

Ingrid, sixteen, orphan, the sole bread winner of the house that she lives in with her mare, has gotten herself into a dangerous task‐regicide of a tyrant. Ingrid is set to do it against all odds, with immense nerves, some brains, and a dark charm of the land by her side. However, the end of the king doesn’t seem like end of her troubles.

  1. New author for me too. I do think it’s a great cover and a wonderful introduction to a new series.
