Sherry’s Shelves – 3.5 – 3.11.23 #weeklyupdate

Hi Everyone. I missed last week, but I hope to become more consistent with my weekly update. I think it’s a great way to let you know what you may have missed with giveaways and reviews. I am trying to review every book I read this year and have been doing pretty good. I have been highlighting in my ereader instead of making notes in a spiral like I used to. I have arthritis in my hands and my writing becomes pretty messy pretty quickly.

I played golf for the first time in three years. It felt good. I even had some great shots and am looking forward to playing more before the intense heat hits. I am paying the price, though. It set off my allergies in a big way. I also have COPD and it caused a flareup. Gotta keep on keeping on, right? Just need some Prednisone and I’ll be good to go.

I let my pool go for a couple of months. I had to get the pump repaired and just got lazy. I have never let it get so green before and I won’t do it again. It’s easier to keep up with it than spend so much time trying to clean it up. How about some pics?

It’s not quite there, but pretty damn close. Wishing you a good week.

  1. We have always wanted a pool but when it comes down to it, wouldn’t want the job of keeping up with it. Glad yours is almost cleaned up again. Have a great week!

  2. So, yeah, that pool looks so pretty now…. maintenance always is a bother, but better in the long run I guess. Lazy is just easier some times. Hope your week is a good one!

  3. I imagine it would be wonderful to be able to swim whenever you want. I love to swim, but I have to wait until the city pool opens.

I’ve been slowly letting go of things this year, and one of the things I’ve been thinking about letting go of is letting go of reviewing every book I read.

  4. Your pool is beautiful!

Two of my nephews (grown) LOVE golf. They go every chance they get. I’ve only ever played mini golf but I love it and am pretty good. 🙂
