Sherry’s Shelves – 5.28 – 6.3.23 #weeklyupdates

Hi Everyone. Mr Wonderful was out of town, so it was a quiet week for me. I binged on the Memorial Day Las Vegas week and Lucifer…again. Of course, I did some reading, some blogging and wrote some reviews. I have been doing great at keeping current on my reviews. I, also, now highlight in my ereader, instead of taking notes. By writing the reviews almost as soon as I finish reading, I find it so much easier, the novel and my feelings fresh in my mind. Sometimes, it’s hard to stop reading long enough to write the reviews. I have so many books on my currently reading shelf, which is…for the most part…review books. Sometimes I just can’t say no. I have also been trying some new authors through NetGalley and Book Sirens, and some books outside my favorite genres.

How about you? What would you like to share today?

Til next week, stay safe.

  1. I always like to write up my reviews as soon as I finish the books. When I first started blogging, I was lucky to write a whole paragraph, but now I try to write up a little summary of the plot (to refresh my memory if I need to look back) as well as my thoughts about the book.

I always love it when I have a little time alone. It was especially precious when I was raising young children, but I still enjoy it now that we are retired.
