Hi Everyone. You know it’s spring, when the azaleas are blooming. This week’s weather has been hit and miss, but I am so happy that I have been able to work out in the yard, doing a lot of weeding and spring prep. Hope to get some fertilizer and insect killer down this week. I got in the pool…and it is still a bit chilly. Love it anyway. During March, the oak leaves fall and create a battle of the leaves. Then we have the little seed pods, so I have to keep emptying the robot and skimmers. I sure do love my robot. Saves me a ton of time to do something else. Mr Wonderful got his second dose of the vaccine and all looks good. For me, it still doesn’t change anything. The Mullet Toss is coming up at the end of April. It takes place at the Redneck Riviera, Florabama and I will be missing another year of it. It’s disappointing, but even with the vaccination, I don’t see myself partying with a bunch of people from all over the country, maybe the world. With the relaxation of all the Covid rules, I feel even less confident on being around anyone. But, we have some friends and family that are coming down for it and I am conflicted. Mr Wonderful has invited them over, but after them going to a wet Tshirt contest and drinking all day at the Floribama, I don’t feel good about it. And, I sure don’t want them staying with us. I haven’t done enough research of my own to know what happens after your vaccination. I mean…are we 100% safe to go out and do anything and everything? Hope you had a good week and another coming up.

Hi Everyone. Not much going on this week. Mr Wonderful was at his mother’s house, so I binged on Below Deck and Twilight. I love both and Mr Wonderful gets bored with them, so whenever he is away I am binging. How about you and yours? Do you have favorites and hates? The weather has been springy…cloudy, windy, rainy and got a bit chilly too. The battle of the leaves in the pool has been ongoing and another week or so I think it will all pass and I am calling it summertime!!!!

Hi Everyone. What a gorgeous day we are having. Yesterday Mr Wonderful and I worked outside all day. It felt wonderful. Mowing, cleaning up and such. Grabbing some sun and getting my base tan working so I don’t fry every time I step outside and to get acclimated to the heat for when summer really hits. How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? Anything new happening? Any great books? Hope you have a good week.

Hi Everyone. I hope you have had a good week. Myself, it has been pretty quiet. I have been cleaning and sorting through the house…still. I have also been beautifying the pool and am looking forward to my first dip. It is still a bit early and chilly, but March is when I start my summer season. That is why I have been concentrating on spring cleaning. I can hardly wait to switch from indoor chores to outdoor chores. We have had some rain, but today the sun is shining and it feels a lot warmer than it is. My phone says it is 71. I am eager to get rid of my socks and sweats and get into my shorts and tshirts and go barefoot. My feet want to be set free…

Hi Everyone. YAY! I got my second dose of the vaccine on Wednesday. A sore arm and that was it. Such a relief, seeing I had heard the second dose could be worse than the first. It really doesn’t change much of anything. I still won’t be going anywhere or doing anything. Mr Wonderful has been in Birmingham, Alabama, all week. His father passed away. Also, my son’s uncle passed away. You know you are getting older when you know so many people leaving our world. I have been binge watching the Twilight series again and doing some blogging. I find myself seeming to drift through the days. I didn’t even read that much this week and I really need to get a move on on my review books (you can see them on my TBR post).

Hi Everyone. A quiet week is a good week. I have been piddling around the house, doing a little of this and a little of that, sorting and cleaning. I will have my second vaccination this month, so I am planning on having the yard sale I was going to have last year, this year. I am hoping Mr Wonderful is right behind me with the vaccination. He is on the list, but has no appointment set at this time. We are having a cold spell coming through here in the Panhandle, but the sun is shining, so that is good. I am using the time to try and catch up on some of my blogging. I hate not being ahead like I used to be, but Mr Wonderful has some freelance coming up, so I will TRY and devote that time to blogging ahead, doing reviews and…

Hi Everyone. Well, I have some great news. I got my first injection for the vaccine. I am in a bit of a hurry today…Mr Wonderful has some plans to keep me busy around the house, so I will share the photos in a couple of days. The weather is normal for January, cool to warm, cloudy to sunny, sometimes rain and sometimes not. Have a great week.

Hi Everyone. We have had a cold spell coming through, but the sun is shining today (Friday). It always lifts my spirits when I see blue skies. Mr Wonderful and I cut our hair yesterday. It’s always an adventure when I cut his hair. Mine, I don’t worry about so much. Just cut it straight across and I’m good. Feels better now and I hope it’s easier to wash. My bum arm is getting better, but taking so darn looooooong. We still have some of our Christmas stuff up because I’m not going in the attic until it gets a bit warmer, so why take it all down. Mostly it’s just lights. I am going to take the decorations off the tree this week and make it a Mardi Gras tree. I love lights and plan to keep some up, after taking the rest of the Christmas garland down. Anything to make myself feel better right now is a good thing. I’m still having trouble coming up with a blogging schedule, but I hate having to scramble to post something because I haven’t blogged ahead, so I need to figure it out.
