Mardi Gras season is in full swing and all I can say is:

Laissez les bons temps rouler

(Let the good times roll)

This past week I was on the road, traveling to Mobile, Alabama, for the Senior Bowl, New Orleans for some Mardi Gras parades and Biloxi for a little bit of one armed bandit action. We had a great time and collected many goodies!

I am so excited and hyped by the Super Bowl. Have been keeping up with the latest news, commercials and interviews that have been shared on TV. Will you be watching?

Super Sunday will be a battle between the NFL’s best young quarterback (Carolina’s Cam Newton) and a legend probably playing his final game (Denver’s Peyton Manning). The game also pits two outstanding defenses and will feature clut…

I love football and have loved watching the playoff games. The Senior Bowl is right next door, in Mobile, Alabama, and I was able to catch a glimpse of the players during practice. I even got my picture taken with A J McCarron, an Alabama quarterback who has made it to the NFL. He plays for the Cincinnati Bengals and is doing a right fine job.

As football season winds down, I wonder what sports I will be watching next. Well…Nascar and the Daytona 500 is just around the corner.

Another busy week playing catchup.

Thank you Mother Nature, for some sunshine. It has been dark and gloomy for so long, although it helped the weather to stay warmer. Too bad she won’t put both of them together again…for a little while. 😥

Been doing a bit of yard work and cleaned the pool.

I know this time of year, many of us are spending time with family and preparing for the upcoming holidays. Blogging is only one of the many things on my list to do.

Mr Wonderful was off work on Friday and the weather is so wonderful, we HAD to play golf. After all, we don’t want to waste one day of sun and fun, because it will not last.
