Hello fellow bloggers. I hope you have all had a great week, filled with family, fun and a lot of great books. I keep meaning to catch a baseball game and was bummed that I missed a visit by the Clydesdales at the Pensacola Wahoos Friday. Mr Wonderful captured some fun photos, though. I can always count on him. Myself, I’ve been doing some reading, blogging, and movie watching. I’ve also been piddlding in the yard, one of my favorite things to do. Still can’t do too much with my bum wing, but I can do some cleanup and enjoy the pool. We sure do need some rain. How about you?

In Pensacola Florida, on 12th Street, we have a bridge that is known as Grafitti Bridge. People paint all kinds of things on it, without getting into any trouble. In honor of Shark Week, an artist added this fabulous painting and I love that noone painted over it.

Hello fellow bloggers. I hope you have all had a great week, filled with family, fun and a lot of great books. I’ve been busy doing the usual, piddling around the house and the yard, doing some reading and blogging, and more reading and blogging.

As the summer winds down…OMG, July is almost over, I know a lot of you are doing school shopping and planning. I don’t have any of that to think of any more, but I do think of vacation. We tend to stacation for the summer, but as the fall approaches and the vacation season is winding down, we have begun planning. I’m not going to say where we are going, or when, but you will probably be able to tell. I will still be blogging, but it will be at a minimum and I will be posting a lot of pics after I get back.

Hello fellow bloggers. I have missed posting Sherry’s Shelves for the past few weeks. Not enough time in the day for doing everything and I knew I wouldn’t be able to respond to you in a timely fashion. Commenting and email take up so much time and I find it hard to stick to a schedule to make it easier for myself. How do you find the time?

Mr Wonderful had a freelance fishing gig and saw this sign and went in to investigate. Weeks Bay, Alabama. Now that he’s found it, he has to take me there! Pitcher Plants…I kept trying to remember what we called them as kids. We would find them in the woods around our house in Michigan…Jack in the Pulpits is what we called them. Fascinating plants.

Hello everyone. Glad to see you stopping in. It is still raining and everything is looking green and healthy. A bit out of control. Mr Wonderful has been working a lot, so we haven’t done much. I am watching a lot of movies and enjoying every minute of it. I want to be working outside and swimming in the pool. But, an injury gives me a reason to read, read, read….and I am doing a lot of it.I have never been this caught up on review books, but I haven’t been taken many new ones in right now. I need to get my challenger in order, since half the year is gone. Do you do any challenges? I enjoy them, but I do limit myself. I watched a great movie, Red Dog. Have you heard of it? Check it out. It had me crying more than once and I am glad Mr Wonderful was working so he didn’t see me. I’ve been trying to get back into visiting blogs at least twice a week and leaving a comment. LOL

Hello. Welcome to another edition of Sherry’s Shelves. I’m binge watching The Closer right now. Do you watch it? I love Brenda Lee. She’s is such a unique and quirky character. AND, she’s always gets her man…or woman. The sun is shining and it’s in the 70s. I am so looking forward to summer. The only problem I have is my bum wing. It’s not getting any better, but I am doing physical therapy. I look around outside and see all the work that needs to be done and it bums me out that I can”t do it. I hope all it takes is time, but I think another doctor visit is in order.

Hello. Welcome to another edition of Sherry’s Shelves. Well…Mardi Gras is over. Some of the family from Connecticut came down for Spring Break. I was happy Mardi Gras was still going on and we made it to New Orleans for a day of parades. We got pelted with beads…and if you know Mardi Gras…there are never enough beads. The weather started out a bit rainy but mild. Unfortunately, it changed to freezing colod for a couple of nights,but came back mild for their last day…at Pensacola Beach. I hope they enjoyed their time here as much as we enjoyed having the.

We have chosen our spot, scored some loot and are waiting for the next parade to arrive.

Hello. Welcome to another edition of Sherry’s Shelves. Spring is in the air and so was love…Hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine…s Day. Mr Wonderful was his usual wonderful self. He got me some delicious chocolate covered strawberries and a beautiful, wonderfully fragrant bouquet of roses.

So… I have been having issues with my arm and I do believe I have biceps tendonitis. Mr Wonderful has it in his elbow. You may probably be able to guess why….one of the drawbacks of technology…computeritis. We both love our computers and when we aren’t out and about doing things, we spend a lot of time on them. How about you? Any side affects come your way? What do you do to correct them?

The sun is shining and I feel good. I love the feet of it on my skin, warming me, lulling me into a trance, igniting my imagination, transporting me to another place…kind of like when I read a good book.

Hello. Welcome to another edition of Sherry’s Shelves. Glad the weather has been mild and I have been able to open the house up, letting in some freshly pollinated air. Tis the season of Claritin, Flonase and Musinex. LOL One day it even got in the seventies. I haven’t been up to much this week. Still messing around in the guest room, cleaning and purging. I have a lot of bookshelves in there, but I have five more in the living room. I am trying to figure out how I want to organize them. That’s the hardest part, the rest is just dusting and moving.
